In densely populated areas such as the Stuttgart region, the pressure on undeveloped land is high. Agricultural production of regional foodstuffs, nature and landscape conservation, the desire for recreational space and the need for development areas for urban uses all compete with each other. It is becoming increasingly difficult to find areas to compensate for constructional interventions.
How can this conflict situation be defused? What possibilities are there for planning and implementing compensation measures with added value through forward-looking, integrated planning and better cooperation between all parties involved?
The results were all compiled as part of the RAMONA project: More information on RAMONA.
